About Me

I’m Sam Stagg, an industrial design graduate student at Pratt Institute with a passion for crafting outdoor, sport, and climbing products. With years of experience as a climbing coach, retail manager, and operations leader in the climbing industry, I bring a unique perspective to design—one rooted in real-world functionality and user needs.

My work combines a passion for working prototypes, functionality, and crafting quality user experiences through hands on problem-solving. Whether designing multifunctional gear, coaching climbers to personal success, or building custom climbing walls in tiny Brooklyn apartments, I thrive on details and delivering solutions that enhance experiences.
